Create Placement Region Dialog
This wizard dialog appears after the user has used drag-and-drop to define a rectangular area in the
Floorplanner view while the Placement Region Tool is active. It allows the user to name the new Placement
Region, and define its bounds.

Remember
Placement Regions are only supported for the 22iHD family of Achronix devices.

Create Placement Region Dialog
Option
Description
Region Name
The name for the new Placement Region. ACE will pre-populate this field with
a default incrementing value.
Region Alignment
Snap to Clock Region
Boundaries
If selected, ACE will create a Placement Region that encompasses all Clock
Regions covered by the selected Tiles.
