Curtain Rod Measurement Guide
There is no industry standard in relation to curtain rod measurement. The length of the curtain rod you
choose will depend entirely on your preference. The length of the rod should be the same length as the
area that you want to cover with your drapes. Ideally you want to ensure that the curtain rod is long
enough so the drapes cover the light coming in from the sides of the window as well as from the front of
the window itself. We recommend you add an additional 4” from the window casing on each side.
