Installing a SIM or microSD card

To take full advantage of your smartphone’s telephony capabilities, you must install a

SIM card. The SIM card holder is located at the top of the battery bay.

Your new phone has two SIM card holders, you may install one or two SIM cards.

Additionally, you may wish to increase your smartphone’s storage by inserting a

icroSD card into the slot provided

1. Insert your fingernail and flip the microSD card cover open and insert the

microSD card as illustrated.

3 Power button Press to turn the screen on/off or enter sleep

mode; press and hold to turn the smartphone on

or off.

4 Proximity sensor Detects proximity to automatically adjust screen

brightness or turn the screen on/off.

5 Phone speakers Emits audio from your smartphone; suitable for

holding to your ear.

6 Front-facing camera Useful for taking self portrait images.

7 Touchscreen 5-inch, 854 x 480 pixel capacitive touchscreen to

display data, phone content and enter

information.

8 Micro USB connector Connects to a USB cable/charger.

9 microSD card slot Insert a microSD card into the slot.

10 Volume up/down buttons Increases or decreases the phone volume.

11 Flash LED flash for camera.

12 Camera 5 MP camera for taking high-resolution images.

13 Microphone Internal microphone.

14 AcerRAPID button Shortcut button to answer incoming calls and end

calls. Long press to launch the camera app; short

press to launch a designated app (default app is

Google Play Music).
