Phone settings
Many phone settings are automatically configured by your
smartphone when you insert a SIM card. The device will communicate
with your provider and automatically obtain all necessary settings,
such as network name, voice mail and text message center numbers.
You can also view and modify these settings manually through the
Call settings screen.
From the Home screen, tap Phone, then tap the Menu button >
Settings > Voice Call. Tap which settings you want to modify.
Sound
To adjust your phone’s sound settings, in the Application menu tap
Settings > Sound.
Adjusting the volume
Adjust the volume of your phone using the volume button on the side
of the phone. Alternatively, you can set the Ringtone, Notifications,
and Alarms volume by opening the Application menu and tapping
Settings > Sound > Volumes.
Item Description
Vibrate Vibrates the device for incoming calls.
Volumes
Adjust the Ringtone, Notifications, and Alarm
volumes.
Phone ringtone Sets your default voice calls ringtone.
Default notification Set your phone’s default notification sound.
Dial pad touch tones Play tones when using dial pad.
Touch sounds
Play sounds when touching certain UI
elements.
Screen lock sound
Play sound when locking and unlocking the
screen.
Vibrate on touch
Vibrate when pressing soft keys and on
certain UI interactions.
