1.10 Receive a Call
When you receive an incoming voice call, the ring tone, illumination and vibrate function will activate
(depending on your current profile setting).
Extend the antenna completely to get maximum coverage and call
quality.
• Press the key or the OK key to answer.
• Press the Right Select Key or the to reject the call
• Press any other key to mute the incoming call (The ring is muted but the call is not
answered)
• When an incoming call has been muted you can press the key or the OK key to
answer.
Notes:
• When the headset is connected pressing the headset switch will answer the call.
• Always extend the antenna fully. If it is half extended call quality will be compromised.
• When you mute an incoming call it remains in the ringing state at both ends. This is useful
in meetings etc. so you can view the caller details before deciding whether to answer the
call. If you hang up the other party will know you have rejected the call but if you mute the
incoming ring you can let the call ring out without answering.
