Setup Menu
This feature allows you to set up the default settings by preference for using your
camera.
1. Rotate the mode dial to (Setup) mode and turn your camera on.
2. Press W or X to select the [BASIC] / [CUSTOM] menu.
3. Use S or T to select the desired option item, then press the button.
4. To exit from the setup menu, rotate the mode dial to other desired mode
again.
Item Functional Description
BEEPER This sets whether or not to mute the startup sound and the
camera sound each time you press the camera button.
* LOUDER / SOFT / OFF
POWER OFF If no operation is performed for a specific period of time, the
power to the camera is automatically turned off. This feature
is useful to reduce battery wear.
* 2 MIN. / 3 MIN. / 5 MIN. / OFF
DIGITAL ZOOM This sets whether or not to use digital zoom at the time of
photography.
