Memory/Cache Options
Memory/Cache Options allows you to configure the advanced system
memory functions. Selecting this option displays the screen below:
Parameter Description Option
Level 1 Cache Enables or disables the first-level or
internal memory, that is, the memory
integrated into the CPU.

Level 2 Cache Enables or disables the second-level cache
memory which is incorporated in the CPU
module.

Function
Select Enabled to map memory greater
than 3 GB from original address to 4 GB.
This will prevent memory depletion. This
function requires an operating system that
supports Physical Address Extension (PAE)
mode. Disabling this function could
enhance system performance.
