Power
The power menu allows you to configure the system’s power management feature.

ACPI-aware O/S This parameter indicates whether the system’s OS support
the ACPI ( Advanced Configuration and Power Interface )
standard of power management.

When this parameter is enabled, it allows some OS, such as
Windows 95/98 to implement APM (Advanced Power Man-
agement) functions.

Failure
Defines the power state to resume to after a system shutdown
that is due to an interruption in AC power.
When set to Last State, the system will return to the active
power state prior to shutdown.
When set to Stay Off, the system remains off after power shut-
down.

When set to On/Off, the power button serves as a standard
on/off button.
When set to Suspend, pressing the power button will
activate the power-saving suspend mode.
