Parameter Description Option
Plug & Play OS When this parameter is set to Yes, BIOS
setup initializes only PnP boot devices such
as SCSI cards.
When set to No, the BIOS setup initializes
all PnP boot and non-boot devices such as
sound cards.
Note: Set this parameter to Yes only if the
operating system is Windows 95/98 or a
later version.

Reset Configure Data BIOS setup stores the configuration data of
Plug and Play devices in NVRAM ( Non-
volatile Random Access Memory). When
this parameter is set to Yes, current data is
deleted and a new set of information is
created during the next system bootup.
