4.5 Abnormal screen for VGA source
Check the R.G.B video signals from
computer input on P302 of video connector
Failu re Point:
1. No R.G.B video signals output from host computer. Check the computer.
2. VGA video signal cable disconnected
Check VGA R.G.B input
video signals on I306 pin99, pin96, pin93
respectively that their level is
0.5Vp-p to 0.7Vp-p

Failu re Point:
In the case of the RED signal. (Green and Blue signals are the same path, too.)
1. Video cable is failure.
2. l306 is damaged.
3. FB305, FB307, FB309, FB308, FB306, FB310,
R310~R318, C317~C320, C324,C325 is Open
4. R313, R314, R315 is short.

Check all LVDS signals being
output to P306 from I306?

Proceed ‘Checking the resolution changed IC
movement’ section

Failu re Point:
Printed wire is open between I306 and P306.
