Your computer has a built-in BIOS (Basic Input/Output
System) setup utility. With this utility, you can configure
certain hardware settings for your computer.
Basically, your computer is already correctly
configured for you and you do not need to run this
utility unless you get a Run Setup message.
Run this utility if you want to do any of the following:
❍ Check the configuration of the computer
❍ Change the drive boot sequence
❍ Set or change power-saving options
❍ Set or change resume options
❍ Set, change or remove passwords
BIOS Utility Main Screen
Follow these steps to access this utility:
1. Turn on your computer.
The Startup logo screen shows while the computer is
booting up.
2. When you hear a beep, press Ctrl-Alt-Esc.
