Clicking the BASIC SETTINGS tab brings up the OSPF BASIC SETTINGS page.

Parameter Description
OSPF Status This parameter specifies the global status of the
protocol in the switch.
Router ID This parameter specifies the router identifier.
Autonomous
System Border
Router
This parameter indicates the flag to denote whether or
not the router is to be configured as an Autonomous
System Border Router.
RFC 1583
Compatibility
This parameter specifies the compatibility to RFC 1583
for choosing the route among multiple AS for the same
destination.
External Link State
Database Limit
This parameter specifies the maximum number of non-
default AS-external-LSA entries that can be stored in
the link state database.
