Type This parameter specifies the operational point-to-point
status of the LAN segment attached to this port. It
indicates whether a port is considered to have a
Point-
to-point
connection or Shared Media .
Role This parameter specifies the port's current role as
defined by the Spanning Tree Protocol.
Port State This parameter specifies the port's current state as
defined by application of the Spanning Tree Protocol.
