The Status Tab displays the Name, Status, and Mode of the controller. It also displays whether Conservative cache

is active or not and the reason. If the controller is not in conservative cache mode, the Reason field is greyed out.

Conservative cache mode is an operating mode in which logical devices, or system drives, configured with the

write-back write caching policy are treated as though they were configured for write-through operation and the

cache is flushed.
