Installation Tips
NOTE. There is no built-in driver for integrated SAS in the Windows Server 2003
x64. You need an USB floppy for applying driver during the OS installation.
1. As Windows Server 2003 x64 can’t recognize the integrated SAS, you need
to make a driver diskette from the EasyBUILD 7.1 build 300 first before
the installation.
2. Press F6 at the start of installation to provide the driver disk for the
integrated SAS.
3. Select “LSI Logic Fusion-MPT SAS Driver (Server 2003 x64)” as target driver.
4. After loading the SAS driver from diskette, follow the normal procedure
to finish the installation.
