4.7.1 Disk Drive Control
The disk drive control features allow you to control the floppy drive or
the hard disk drive boot function to prevent loading operating systems
or other programs from a certain drive while the other drives are
operational.
Table 4-2 lists the drive control settings and their corresponding
functions.

Floppy Drive
Normal Diskette drive functions normally
Write Protect All Sectors Disables the write function on all sectors
Write Protect Boot Sector Disables the write function only on the boot
sector
Disabled Disables all diskette functions
Hard Disk Drive
Normal Hard disk drive functions normally
Write Protect All Sectors Disables the write function on all sectors
Write Protect Boot Sector Disables the write function only on the boot
sector
Disabled Disables all hard disk functions
