Acer Backup Manager

Acer B a ckup Manag e r is a simp le three-step proc es s th at allows you t o create
back up c opi es of yo ur en tire sy stem o r se lected files and folders according to a
sched u le o r as yo u n eed to .
To start Acer B a ckup Manag e r, press the A c er Backu p Man a ger key above the
key boa rd . Alternativ ely , y ou c a n go to Start > A ll Pro g r ams > Ace r Ba ck up
Manag e r > A c e r Ba c k up Ma nage r . Th is will open the Welco m e screen; f r o m t h is
screen you will be t a ken thro ugh the th ree ste p s to setup sched uled bac k up s .

Co nti n ue to proce e d to th e fo llowin g sc r ee n . Click the + bu tton an d follow
the onscreen instructions:
1 S e l ect the co nten t you want to back up. T h e less content you select, the
qu icker the p r ocess will b e, bu t it will increase you r ris k s o f losin g da t a.
2 S e l ect where you want the backu p co pies to be stored . You will need to
select an externa l drive or you r D: drive; Acer B a ckup Manag e r cann ot
sto r e a ba ckup on th e sou r ce driv e.
3 S e l ect ho w often y ou want Ac er Backu p M a n a ger to c r ea te back up s.
On ce you have finish ed th es e t h ree steps, ba ckup s will be c r ea t e d acco rdin g to
the sch e du le. You can also create ba ckup s man u ally by pressing the A c er
Back up M a n a ger key .
