The Properties bar shows indent positions for one selected object at a time; therefore, you
cannot use it to set indents for the preset format or for multiple selected objects.
To set indents on the Type palette:
1. Click the Indent tab of the Type palette.
2. Enter the indent settings.
3. Click Apply to implement the indent settings.
