About Photo Discs
On the Photo Discs tabbed page, you
can organize and catalog your collection
of image discs. After adding your discs
to the database, you can browse or
search the image thumbnails without
inserting a disc into the CD-ROM drive.
If new images are saved to a cataloged
disc, you can update the database.
Photo discs are saved with the .ddf
extension.
Adding a photo disc
You can catalog and browse your photo discs at the same time by adding all of
your photo discs to the database.
To add a disc:
1. Insert a disc into your CD-ROM drive.
2. Select the Photo Discs tab.
3. Click the New Disc button.
4. In the Specify Folders dialog box, select the folders of images that you
want to add.
5. Click OK.
6. Type a name for the disc.
7. Click OK.
Updating a photo disc
You can update a modified photo disc that you have already added to the data-
base.
To update the photo disc in the database:
1. Insert a disc into your CD-ROM drive.
2. On the Photo Discs tabbed page, select a photo disc file.
3. Click the Update button.
