Summary of Digital Display Keypad Functions
On/Off: Turns display on or off with each depression.
MODE: Function varies depending on operating state:
1. Selects absolute (ABS) or incremental (INC) mode of operation
during normal use by pressing for one second.
2. Press and hold for two seconds to lock the display.
3. Advances to next programming option while in programming mode.
4. Acts as a “SHIFT” key to execute special operations:
a) MODE and ZERO = programming mode entry/exit.
b) MODE and PLUS = add pattern in multi-pattern mode.
c) MODE and MINUS = subtract pattern in multi-pattern mode.
+ (PLUS):
1. Adds to position value in normal use.
2. Increments option value while in program mode.
3. Enables HOLD feature when LOCK is enabled.
Zero: Sets displayed position to zero in either ABS or INC (when
display is NOT locked).
- (Minus):
1. Subtracts from position value in normal use.
2. Decrements option value while in program mode.
Changing the Batteries (If battery equipped.)
To change the batteries, remove the two screws holding the cover to the
base of the display housing. Carefully pull off the cover. Remove the
batteries. Reinstall new ones, noting the proper orientation shown in the
battery compartment. Replace the cover and tighten the screws.
Note: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BEND BATTERY CLIPS!
Mounting the Display
There are four small mounting holes in the back of the display which may
tapped for M2 or 4-40 screws. The display may also be mounted using
double sided tape or Velcro.
