(SurfaceMountedDevice)packaging‐technology.TheyaremountedonaluminiumIMS‐substrates
(InsulatedMetallicSubstrate).TheIMSsubstratesfacilitateelectricalinterconnectionofbothLEDs
andtheheatremovalatthesametime.Thus,sufficientcooling
andlongtermstabilityofthe
lampsisassured.
