Exposure to the electrolyte contained inside the battery may result in corrosion or chemical burns. Inhalation of electrolyte vapors may cause imitation of the upper respiratory tract and lungs. Lead dioxide may lead to damage of unborn babies, and weaken the reproductive ability.
