7. Press f to confirm.
The new daily BASAL RATE TOTAL is displayed.
Check the new daily BASAL RATE TOTAL.
8. Press f to save and exit.
If the current active basal rate profile is the same as the new programmed
basal rate, it is active immediately.
Note:
At any screen you have three options to exit:
If you want to save the changes
• Press f. Check the new daily basal rate total.
• Press f. Your pump returns to the RUN screen.
If you want to undo the changes
• Wait for your ACCU-CHEK Spirit insulin pump to return to the RUN
screen (timeout), or
• Press d+a simultaneously (exit feature) to exit the function screen.
