4 simple steps to perform a test
Open the cover. The meter turns on. Press the lancing device fi rmly against the
selected puncture site to obtain a blood drop.
Apply the blood drop to the test area. Read the result and close the tip cover.
The meter turns off.

Before you start, wash your hands with
warm water and soap, rinse well and dry
them thoroughly with a clean towel.
Always use a small and well-formed blood
drop. Don’t let the drop spread.
Hold your meter in a way that lets you see
the test area when applying blood. Place
your fi nger gently on the guidance tabs
so that only the blood drop comes into
contact with the center of the test area.
Keep your fi nger as still as possible.
Apply the blood drop immediately after
you have created it. Remove your fi nger as
soon as Test in progress is displayed and the
beep tone (if activated) sounds.

Was je handen met warm
water en zeep voordat je
begint. Spoel je handen af
en droog ze goed af met een
schone handdoek.
Gebruik altijd een kleine en
goed gevormde bloeddrup-
pel. Smeer de bloeddruppel
niet uit.
Positioneer de meter zodanig
dat je het testveld kan zien
wanneer je bloed aanbrengt.
Plaats je vinger voorzichtig
tegen de afstandshouders
zodat alleen de bloeddruppel
in contact komt met het
midden van het testveld.
Hou je vinger zo stil mogelijk.
Breng de bloeddruppel on-
middelijk aan. Haal je vinger
weg zodra het bericht
‘meting loopt’ weergegeven
wordt op het scherm en je
een geluidsignaal hoort
(indien ingesteld).
