4. The time and date appear on the display with a
flashing test strip and drop symbol.
5. Remove the control bottle cap.
6. Apply one drop of the control solution to a flat,
clean, and easily washable surface such as the palm
of your hand, a plate, or a table. If you are unsure
if a surface is clean, wipe it off with a slightly
damp cloth or cotton swab. Hold the meter so the
test strip points downward. Gently touch and hold
the black notch on the end of the test strip to the
control solution. Donotputcontrolsolutionon
topoftheteststrip.When you see
displayed,
you have enough control solution in the test strip.
Donotbendtheteststripwhileapplyingcontrol
solution.
7. Place the cap on the control bottle tightly.
Note: There are three levels of ACCU-CHEK Compact control solution – Low, Mid, and High. It is not necessary
to test with all three levels to confirm that your meter and test strips are working properly.
