Battery power is low. Change the
battery soon. See Chapter 6,
“Changing the Battery.”
The meter is in the set‑up mode,
waiting for you to change or confirm
settings. See Chapter 4, “Meter
Setup.”
Display Messages and Troubleshooting
WARNING
Never make treatment decisions based on an error message. If you have any concerns, contact the
ACCU-CHEK Customer Care Service Center at 1-800-858-8072.
The meter will not turn on or the
display is blank.
• Battery is dead –
Insert new battery.
• Display is damaged –
Contact the ACCU‑CHEK Customer
Care Service Center at
1‑800‑858‑8072.
• Extreme temperatures –
Move the meter to a more
temperate area.
