Setting the Hypoglycemic (Hypo) Alert
You can set the meter to let you know when your result indicates a possible low blood glucose
(hypoglycemia). You can also select what blood glucose level you want this alert to have (60–80 mg/dL).
Before you set the alert, talk to your healthcare professional to help you decide what blood glucose
level is your hypo level. Your new meter is preset to “OFF” for the hypo alert. If you want to turn it “On,
follow these steps.
