12.3.3.2 Time – illustration
The voice unit suggests a time to you. If you wish to accept the suggestion, press the OK button. If you wish to enter a new
time, enter the time as a four-digit number. The first two digits represent the hour, the second two the minutes.
Different cultures use different formats for the time. The voice unit is therefore able to work with two different time formats.
You can choose the format in Menu 4.1.4 “Set time format“.
24-hour format:
Example: for 09:35 enter «0 – 9 – 3 – 5». Press OK to confirm.
12-hour format:
Example: for 09:35 p.m. enter «0 – 9 – 3 – 5». Press OK to confirm.
You are then asked to enter 1 for a.m. or 2 for p.m. In this example enter 2. Press OK to confirm.
12.3.3.3 Results – illustration
Blood glucose may be measured using two different units of measurement: mmol/L or mg/dL. Your voice unit uses only one of
the two units. The unit cannot be changed.
The type plate on the back of the voice unit indicates which unit it uses.
Entering results in mmol/L:
You may enter results from 0 to 55 mmol/L, to one place of decimals.
Examples: for 4.5 mmol/L enter «4 – decimal point button– 5».
For 12 mmol/L enter «1 – 2».
