The voice unit’s diary function (personalized data management) may only be used by one person. If other people’s
results are downloaded without being specially identified as such, confusion may occur.

The passages describing the appearance of, and symbols shown by, the meter’s display are intended for sighted per-
sons.

We recommend that you first get to know and practice using the blood glucose meter before moving on to the voice
unit and use of the system as a whole.

The voice unit can only communicate with the Accu-Chek Compact Plus meter when its serial number is 1237615 or
higher. You can find the serial number on the type plate on the bottom of the meter (see Chapter 1.2).
