9.2 Blood glucose meter
The battery compartment accommodates two cylindrical batteries (type AAA, LR 03, AM 4 or micro).
 Press lightly on the battery compartment cover and slide it in the direction shown by the arrow.
 Lift off the cover.
 Remove any used batteries.
 Insert two new batteries in the battery compartment, paying attention
to the polarity markings.
 Re-attach the battery compartment cover.
The three prongs on the underside of the cover must engage with the
slots along the edge of the battery compartment. The cover is then just
loosely attached.
 Slide the battery compartment cover back into place. It locks with an
audible CLICK.

When you change the batteries, your results always remain saved.
The year, time and date settings only remain saved as long as
 you do not take longer than two minutes to change the batteries,
 you do not press any buttons when the batteries are not inserted,
 you do not open or close the drum compartment when the batteries are not inserted.
