About this User’s Manual
Please study this User’s Manual carefully and fully before using the voice unit and meter for the first time. We also recommend
that you try out the main functions of the system (consisting of voice unit and blood glucose meter), while listening to the
enclosed Quick Reference Guide (which has been spoken onto CD).

This User’s Manual is intended for sighted persons who instruct persons with vision loss on how to use the voice unit
and blood glucose meter and support them in its use.
The Chapter for persons with vision loss explicitly describes all user’s steps, which persons with vision loss can
manage on their own and independently.
The manual will help familiarize you step by step with the features, functions and operation of the voice unit, meter and lanc-
