27 System components
In order to ensure that your Accu-Chek products operate safely and reliably, use only Accu-Chek system components.
Use the Accu-Chek Voicemate Plus voice unit only in combination with the Accu-Chek Compact Plus meter.
If you use other devices or swap one of the two devices, this user‘s manual is no longer valid.
Use only Accu-Chek Compact test strips for testing with the Accu-Chek Compact Plus meter. These are available from your
pharmacist or specialist outlet.
Only Accu-Chek Compact Autocontrol solution is allowed for quality control checks on the Accu-Chek Compact Plus meter and
associated test strips (see Chapter 20).
Use only Accu-Chek Softclix lancets in your Accu-Chek Softclix Plus lancing device. These are available in various pack sizes
from your pharmacist or specialist outlet.
Instead of the lancing device you can attach a blanking plate to the meter should you wish to remove the lancing device per-
manently from the meter. The blanking plate is available from your local customer support and service centre.
If you wish to test blood from alternative sites, you can order a special AST cap for the Accu-Chek Softclix Plus lancing device
from your local customer support and service centre.
