For sighted persons: Using the meter and cleaning the devices

You can flag results obtained from alternate site testing with an asterisk . The results are saved together with the

asterisk symbol. Flagging can take place before or after testing.

 Before testing

While the test strip symbol and blood drop symbol are flashing in the display:

 Press the S button. An asterisk appears below the flashing test strip symbol.

To remove the asterisk:

 Press the S button again.

 After testing

When the result is displayed:

 Press the S button. The asterisk appears below the result.

To remove the asterisk:

 Press the S button twice (the first time you will see the bottle symbol for a quality control check).
