Following two short beeps signifying the end of measurement, the meter announces the result – hundreds first, then tens, and
finally units. There is a short pause between each group of beeps.
The result 180 mg/dL is announced as follows:
one short beep – pause – eight short beeps – pause – one long beep.
The result 72 mg/dL is announced as follows:
one long beep (for 0 hundreds) – pause – seven short beeps – pause – two short beeps.
19.2 Announcement of results and average values from memory
Only the most recently saved result is announced acoustically. Only the average for the last 7 days is announced acoustically.
These two values are represented in the same way as when the result is announced directly following a test.
The announcement is repeated twice, each time preceded by a double beep.

Three long beeps sound if the memory is empty.
No beep sounds if the average of the last 7 days cannot be calculated.
