For sighted persons: Using the meter and cleaning the devices
5
Start downloading at the PC, handheld computer or the Accu-Chek Smart Printer System.
The meter automatically sends all your blood glucose test results. The two arrows flash in
the display.
Once downloading has finished, the arrows stop flashing and the meter turns itself off.
i
If data transfer did not occur or was incomplete, the two arrows do not start flashing and, after 5 minutes, the meter
turns itself off. If this happens, please refer to Chapter 21.2.
i
Your results can only be analyzed if you have set the time and date (see Chapter 16).
i
The results remain in the meter‘s memory following downloading.
i
You cannot test blood glucose while results are being downloaded.
19 Acoustic Mode
Acoustic Mode must be turned on when you use the meter in combination with the Accu-Chek Voicemate Plus voice unit.
The meter leaves the factory with Acoustic Mode already turned on.
Acoustic Mode can also be used to provide acoustic support to persons with vision loss when the voice unit is not available or
not working.
