If you wish to analyze your results on a PC or handheld computer, you will need suitable software. To download your results
from the meter to the PC you will also need the Accu-Chek Infrared Cable. For further information please contact the
Accu-Chek customer care line (see Chapter 30).
The infrared window is located at the front end (the head end) of the meter.
 Be sure to read the operating instructions supplied with the software and hardware you are using. These will include
instructions on how to download your data.
 Make the receiving end (software product or hardware) ready to download the results.
 Position the meter 10-20 cm away from the infrared window of the infrared adapter. Point the two infrared windows
towards one another.
 With the meter turned off, press the S and M buttons at the same time.
The meter turns on without advancing a test strip. Two arrows appear in the display.
