The Accu-Chek Compact Plus meter may be used by people with diabetes to test their own blood glucose.
Any object coming into contact with human blood is a potential source of infection (see: Clinical and Laboratory

15 Performing a full display check
To check that all of the LCD elements are properly displayed, you should carry out a full display check.
Press and hold down the M button.
The meter turns on. As long as you hold down the M button, all the display elements are visible.
Compare the display screen of your meter with the one shown below.
