Message text Cause Remedy
While the voice unit and meter are in
contact with one another
Saved error message (Menu 5.1)
No result received. During a blood glucose
test the voice unit was
waiting for the meter to
send a result. It was unable
to receive the result for a
prolonged period.
The two infrared win-
dows did not have visual
contact. Possible causes:
The infrared windows
were not pointing towards
one another. Or the meter
automatically turned off
following the measure-
ment. Or the meter was
turned off. Or the meter
was displaying an error
message.
The voice unit expects a result fol-
lowing the test and therefore asks
whether you wish to download the
result from the meter now.
If you select yes, the voice unit goes
to menu 3.4 “Download results from
meter”.
If the meter displayed an error mes-
sage, this is then read aloud.
You may also download the result
later. In this case press “no”.
If you have not yet downloaded the
result from the meter to the voice
unit, you may do so now by going to
menu 3.4 “Download results from
meter”.
Downloading of results
interrupted.
During downloading of
results from the meter to
the voice unit the results
were not or were not
fully downloaded from the
meter.
Turn the meter off and restart the
download.
If you have not yet downloaded the
results from the meter to the voice
unit, you may do so now by going to
menu 3.4 “Download results from
meter”.
