Saved error message (Menu 5.1)
Settings defective. The voice unit can no
longer retrieve the settings,
such as date and time. All
entries you made when
you turned on the voice
unit for the fi rst time and
later in the settings menu
are lost.
You then have to re-enter these
settings.
When you press the OK button, the
voice unit automatically goes to the
point where you choose the language.
If, instead, you turn the voice unit off,
it behaves when you next turn it on as
if you were turning it on for the fi rst
time and asks for the language to be
entered.
The date, time and other settings
default back to the factory settings.
You need to re-set them to suit your
own requirements

No contact with meter. The two infrared windows
do not have visual contact.
The meter is not turned
on, or it was turned on too
soon, or the two infrared
windows are not pointing
towards one another.
If the meter is already turned on, turn
it off and dispose of the test strip.
First point the infrared windows to-
wards one another (see Chapter 7.3).
Turn the meter on now (not before).
