Contact with meter or PC
lost. Cannot transfer data.
Contact with the meter or
PC was lost. No data was
transferred.
There are several reasons why con-
tact may have been lost. Is there an
intense light source nearby, e.g. direct
sunlight or a lamp? Intense light in-
terrupts contact. Move out of the sun
or move the lamp further away. Or is
there another device with an infrared
window nearby? This may be, for
instance, a mobile phone or another
blood glucose meter. Other infrared
windows may cause interference.
Move any such device away.

USB connection inter-
rupted.
During transfer of data to
a PC, or during a software
update to the voice unit,
the USB connection
between the voice unit and
the PC was interrupted.
The USB connection was interrupted.
Check that the USB cable is properly
inserted. Start data transfer or the
