Message text Cause Remedy
While the voice unit and meter are in
contact with one another
Saved error message (Menu 5.1)
Meter error E 12: Test strip
was removed.
You pulled the test strip out
of the meter during testing.
Turn the meter off and then on again
by pressing the test button. Repeat
the test with a new test strip.
Only remove the test strip by pressing
the Test button to turn the meter off.
