The voice unit announces its own error messages as well as those from the meter.
There are two times at which the voice unit announces error messages:
1. While it is in contact with the meter, e.g. when an error occurs during a blood glucose test. It saves these messages
additionally.
2 Go to Menu 5.1 and Menu 5.2 to have the saved messages announced to you.
The error messages are listed in the table below.
If you press the Help button after the error message has been announced (see table below, “Message text” column), the voice
unit also tells you the cause of the error message and how you can eliminate the error. This information is listed in the “Cause”
and “Remedy” columns. In the case of error messages that have been saved in memory, it is often no longer necessary, or
possible, to eliminate the error.
