12.7 Request information about the voice unit (6)
In this menu you can ask for certain items of information about the voice unit to be read aloud. Customer service and support
may need this information if you call them with a problem or questions about your voice unit.
12.7.1 Announcement of date and time (6-1)
In this menu the current date and current time set in the voice unit are read aloud.
12.7.2 Announcement of battery status (6-2)
i
How long the batteries last depends on how intensively you use the features of the voice unit. It is therefore not pos-
sible to make a general statement about battery life.
In this menu you can ask for the status of the batteries to be read aloud.
1. Announcement “Batteries are OK”
Battery performance is good and you can still perform a large number of blood glucose tests.
2. Announcement “Batteries are running low”
In this case the batteries will last for several more blood glucose tests. We recommend that you keep new batteries in
reserve. You can then replace the batteries when the voice unit reports “Batteries almost exhausted” when it is turned
on.
