After you have restored the factory settings, the voice unit proceeds automatically to the setup for first-time use (see Chap-
ter 5). If you now turn the voice unit off and on again at a later time, it assumes it has never been turned on and enters this
setup routine again. As when you turned the voice unit on for the very first time it asks you to choose the language.
12.6 Request error messages (5)
The voice unit saves error messages from the meter as well as its own error messages. Also, you can have the error mes-
sages that are saved in the meter sent to the voice unit.
You can ask for error messages to be read aloud to you via Menus 5.1 and 5.2. By pressing the Help button you can also hear
the cause, and a troubleshooting recommendation.
The 20 most recent error messages are saved. When a further error message is saved, the oldest one is erased.
12.6.1 Request error messages from the meter (5-1).
The voice unit saves error messages from the meter when these occur during a test and the voice unit is communicating with
the meter. In addition, you can have error messages that the meter saved when it was not communicating with the voice unit
sent to the voice unit. You can have the error messages read aloud in this menu.
