12.5.2.2 Set hypo indicator (4-2-2)
You can set a level that provides a reliable indication if you are heading for a hypo. If the result is below the level you have set,
the voice unit says “Hypo possible” before announcing the result.
The factory setting is: hypo indicator off.
The voice unit tells you the level that is currently set. If you wish to keep this, press the OK button. Or enter a new level and
press OK to confirm.
Unit of measurement mmol/L
You may enter levels from 2.8 to 6.6 mmol/L.
Example: For 4.5 mmol/L enter «4 – decimal point button – 5».
For 5 mmol/L enter «5».
Unit of measurement mg/dL
You may enter levels from 50 to 120 mg/dL.
Example: for 85 mg/dL enter «8 – 5».
If you wish to turn off the hypo indicator, enter 0.
The hypo indicator is only reliable if your hypo indicator level has been properly selected. We therefore strongly rec-
ommend that you talk to your healthcare professional about what blood glucose level is your hypo level before you
set the indicator. This function is no substitute for hypoglycaemia training by your doctor or diabetes team.
