With the “Repeat” button, and only with this, you can stop the test reminder alarm.
12.5.1.1 Set alarm time (4-1-1)
You can set six alarm times at which you want the voice unit to remind you to test blood glucose.
Alarm time 1 differs from the other five alarm times. Test alarm 1 reminds you only once. After that it turns off again. The
alarm times 2 to 6 remind you to test each day at the appointed time until you turn them off again in this menu.
If the voice unit is turned off, you hear a beep at the appointed time, the voice unit turns on and announces the time. After that
it is ready for a blood glucose test and behaves as if it had been turned on with the on/off switch.
If the voice unit is already turned on, you hear the beep and the time is announced. The voice unit does not go to the “Test
blood glucose” menu, however, but remains where it was when the alarm sounded.
Entering alarm times
The six alarm times are set in menus 4.1.1.1 to 4.1.1.6. Call up the menu that allows you to set the desired alarm time; for
example: menu 4.1.2.2 for alarm time 2.
The voice unit makes a suggestion for each alarm time. This is either a time you set previously or “turned off if you did not
set a time. For alarm time 1 the suggestion is “turned off provided that this alarm has already sounded since being turned on.
If the alarm has not yet sounded, i.e. alarm time one is still turned on, the suggestion is the alarm time that is set.
