Line up the infrared windows in an L shape (See Chapter 7.3).
Now turn the meter on in the same way as for sending data to a PC.
Press the M button and the S button, that is to say the two buttons to the right and left of the Test button that you nor-
mally use to start a blood glucose test, at the same time (you hear a beep).
Once the voice unit and the meter have established contact with one another, the results are downloaded into the voice unit‘s
diary. The voice unit announces this and then turns the meter off.
If transmission of the data is taking a long time, the voice unit informs you of this.
12.5 Settings (4)
The settings menu is divided into two sub-menus.
In sub-menu 1 you can enter settings that affect the alarm time, date and time.
In sub-menu 2 you will find all other settings, i.e. “Speech-only” mode, hypo indicator, language, automatic power-off
time, unit for carbohydrates and factory settings.

In this menu you can enter all settings to do with the time and date.
