12.4.4 Download results from meter (3-4)
If you carried out blood glucose tests during which you did not use the voice unit or during which the voice unit could not
receive the result, your meter contains results that are not stored in the voice unit‘s diary.
The voice unit prompts you to download these following the next test that was performed not with the meter alone but with
both devices together (on-line testing).
You can use this menu to send the results to the voice unit‘s diary.
When you read data from the meter, two conditions must be met:
1. All of the results saved in the meter must be your own. None of the results must originate from other users.
2. At the time of testing the date and time in the meter and in the voice unit must concur.
If one of these conditions is not met or you have any doubts, you must not use the results for analytical purposes
(e.g. for calculating averages), as the result will differ from the result for you personally. You must identify results cov-
ered by points 1 and 2 accordingly, e.g. as “Invalid result” or “Another’s result” (see Chapter 12.3.3.6).
If the meter is on, turn it off.
Turn the voice unit on and select Menu 3.4.
