As soon as you have pressed OK to confirm the USB connection, the voice unit can no longer speak, nor does it respond to
button presses. Only when you have logged off the USB connection with the voice unit on the PC can the voice unit speak and
respond to button presses again.
All diary entries are located in the file diary.csv. Copy this file from the voice unit to your PC. The CSV data format is supported
as standard by many programs (e.g. Excel) and automatically converts data formats separated by list separators. If a program
is used that does not support this conversion as standard, it may be necessary to direct attention to certain configuration
parameters.
The separation character is a semicolon, the decimal separator is a full stop, end of line is indicated by a return, the character
set is German (matching the language that has been set), the date format is YY-MM-DD, the time format is hh-mm, the result
marker is a sequence of 32 zeros and ones, the blood glucose result is either xx.x (for mmol/L) or xxx (for mg/dL), the insulins
xx.x in 0.5-unit steps, carbohydrates xx.x, events as xx and language-dependent text, and the personal memo as xxx.xxx with
numbers between 0 and 9.
12.4.3 Send data to a PC via the IR port (3-3)
The data records of the diary can be downloaded via the infrared windows to a PC. For more information please contact your
