A simple way of ensuring both devices have the same date and time is to send the date and time from the voice unit to the
meter.
To send the date and time to the meter, proceed as follows:
 If the meter is on, turn it off.
 Turn the voice unit on and select Menu 3.1. Point the infrared windows towards one another (see Chapter 7.3).
 Now (not earlier) turn the meter on in the same way as for sending data to a PC.
Press the M button and the S button, that is to say the two buttons to the right and left of the Test button that you nor-
mally use to start a blood glucose test, at the same time (you hear a beep).
When the voice unit and meter have established contact, the voice unit sends the date and time to the meter. After that, the
voice unit turns the meter off.
12.4.2 Send data to a PC via USB cable (3-2)
You can send the voice unit’s diary to a PC via the USB port. To do this you need to connect the voice unit to the PC using the
supplied USB cable.
When the USB connection has been established between the voice unit and PC, you must inform the voice unit. Press the OK
button. Only then can you send the diary to the PC.
